Linda

LINDA fell in love with Washington, DC in 2007 when she visited for the first time for her friend’s birthday celebration. In just one weekend she was hooked and destined to be a resident. In 2010, her dream became a reality when she moved to the Nation’s Capital to take a fundraising job at WAMU 88.5 – a member station of National Public Radio. Soon after she daydreamed of becoming a guide and was often stopped by tourists who thought she was a guide. Ultimately, she became a tour guide and is a member of The Guild of Professional Tour Guides of Washington, D.C. When Linda is not raising money or guiding she enjoys taking a walk along the Chesapeake and Ohio Canal reflecting on her good fortune to live, work, and play in D.C. She recommends everyone should visit and go all the way to the top of the Washington Monument to honor our first president, George Washington, and to take in the spectacular views of the city. She holds a MBA and a B.S. in Management from Florida Gulf Coast University in Fort Myers, FL.
